Birthday wishes in a short feature for Frank Lowy, 88, who survived holocaust, born in Filakovo, Slovakia, spent some time in Hungary, back to Kosice, Slovakia, then Palestine (now State Israel), and finally Sydney, Australia. Frank not only excelled as a businessman (Westfield chain), but contributed a lot to Australian soccer/football. After becoming a chairman of FFA he invited for a couple of months former Australian national team coach (in 1967), and world wide recognized expert Jozef Venglos from Slovakia for some advise. We are refreshing memories from our 2004 interview with Frank at Slovak Embassy in Canberra after a special lunch with Venglos and Slovak Ambassador Dr. Anna Turenicova. Happy 88 Frank Lowy.
