Freedom of November 1989

As part of the commemorations of the peaceful Velvet Revolution that toppled the Communist regime in former Czechoslovakia 31 years ago, we speak with founders of GLOBAL SLOVAKIA, a not-for-profit organization that shares Slovakia with the world. The Velvet Revolution paved the way for democratic and economic reforms in the former Soviet satellite and Zuzana Palovic with Gabriela Bereghazyova remind us of freedom as we should not take it for granted even today, 31 years after the Iron Curtain was lifted!
