How Slovaks were denied bidding for Winter Olympics 1984

During the old communist Czechoslovakian regime Slovaks were denied a real big chance to bid for hosting 1984 Winter Olympics. It was later given to Sarajevo in former Yugoslavia like an unexpected gift. Story behind
