National Language Competition - Monash Uni Iniciative

The SBS National Languages Competition is open to all language learners across Australia from 15th October. While Australia is one of the most linguistically diverse nations in the world, language learning at schools is declining. Through the SBS National Languages Competition we are looking to encourage and celebrate a love of learning languages in Australia. More than a competition, this initiative really delivers on our purpose of inspiring Australians to explore, respect and celebrate diversity. From now until 11:59pm on Sunday 18 November, we are encouraging those learning a language, from ages 4 to 18+, to send us a photo or drawing that shows us ‘What amazing possibilities does learning a language open for you?’ In this feature from SBS Newsroom we talk about the interesting Monash Uni iniciative.
