Since July 2018 signed UN Global Compact for Migration in New York by 192 nations, many countries dropped from the list, stepped back and not going to ratify this Marrakesh document (to be officially launched in Morocco next month), including Australia, Austria, Hungary and many others. Slovak mystery behind the decision not to follow other members of V4 group (Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary) is almost obvious - the Slovak foreign minister was in charge of General Assembly of UN during the finalizing the text of the compact and has to support own work. But the Slovak government is yet to declare the strong position.
