Slovenian composer Aldo Kumar is this year's winner of the Kozina Award, given by the Association of Slovenian Composers. His rich oeuvre includes choral, solo, chamber, vocal-instrumental, stage and film music, and he also teaches at the Academy of Theater, Radio, Film and Television (AGRFT) in Ljubljana.
