In memoriam Frančiška Knap (13.7.1936-28.2.2019)

Frančiška (Fanika) Krap was a very active and respected within the Slovenian community in Queensland. She passed away on March 28th 2019 after a long illness, aged 82. Frančiška was born near the village of Radmirje in the beautiful Upper Savinija Valley in Slovenia and was a very proud Slovenian. Mirko Cuderman, who regularly reports on events within the Slovenian community in Queensland for our program pays tribute to the life of Frančiška Knap, who was also affectionately known as Fanika. Her funeral was held on 4 April 2019 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast. May Frančiška Knap rest in God's peace.
