Otmar Verdenik (1938-2017) RIP

Otmar (Oto Verdenik) was active within Melbourne's Slovenian community as well as being a founding member of the Slovenian Association Planica. He was an outstanding musician and vocalist who formed Quartet Zvon in 1970 and Ansambel Kristal in 1981. Lucija Srnec, a long time member of the Slovenian Association Planica and Slovenian language teacher spoke about the life and times of the late Otmar Verdenik. His funderal was held at the local church near his home in Keysborough. May Oto rest in peace!
