On Saturday, May 1, 2021, we hosted Slovenian actor Gregor Baković and producer Rok Biček in our studio. The feature film Moja Vesna is the work of award-winning Slovenian screenwriter and director Sara Kern, who lives in Melbourne.

Story:

After the sudden death of her mother, a 10-year-old girl, Moja (Loti Kovačič), takes on the role of an adult in a fragmented immigrant family. She tries to reconcile her difficult pregnant sister Vesna (Mackenzie Mazur) and her inconsolable father Miloš (Gregor Baković).

The shooting of the film was co-financed by the Slovenian Film Center and Screen Australia, and was also financially supported by Film Victoria and RTV Slovenia. In the conversation, you will learn that not everything is as great as it sounds. My Vesna will be screened at the Melbourne Film Festival next year.
