Sydney Slovenians bid farewell to Fr Valerijan Jenko OFM OAM

The Slovenian Community in Sydney joined together to bid a final farewell to Father Valerijan Jenko OFM OAM, who passed away on June 15th 2018 at the age of 92. A special memorial mass, commemoration service and wake were held at the Saint Raphael's Slovenian Church and Mission in Merrylands on Sunday, July 15th. It was attended by over 300 mourners, who came from far and wide to remember and pay tribute to Fr Valerijan. Congratulations to the second generation Australian Slovenian organisers of this very successful event! May Father Valerijan rest in God's eternal peace! nit y
