Last Tuesday, the 47th Federal Parliament, which was marked by an indigenous smoking ceremony, a welcome to the country and a visit to the church, officially began its work. It was only the eighth time since World War II that the government changed; the last time was nine years ago, when the Labor coalition won, and there appears to be a lot of change on the horizon.
