The six month long A-League pre season was brought to a shuddering halt when City's Bruce Kamau took matters into his own hands towards the end of the first half in the season opener clash against Brisbane Roar, to side foot home the A-League's first goal of the season.
Kamau sealed the match in the 75th minute when he's shot deflected of a Brisbane Roar defender, leaving the goal keeper rooted on the spot and the Citizens celebrating a perfect start to the 2017/18 A-League Season, whilst Kamau wheeled away to collect his man of the match award.
