The duo have enjoyed mixed fortunes this season at Melbourne City with neither getting as much game time as they did in previous seasons.

Bruce Kamau, 22, will link up once again with is former Adelaide United and Australia under 23 coach Josep Gombau, under whom he became the A-Leagues most dangerous wingers and a nightmare for defenders. Image

Kamau went on to become a fan favorite during his time with the reds where he led the club to grand final success before moving to City in 2016.

Josep Gombau was also responsible for the rise to prominence of Ruon Tongyik, 21 an imposing central defender who takes no prisoners whilst providing protection for his goal keeper. Like Kamau, Ruon also benefited from Gombau's mentorship whilst representing Australia at under 23 level. Image

Bruce and Ruon will join the Wanderers at the end of the season, to begin what is likely to be Gombau's extensive restructure of a team he inherited.
