Africa mourns passing of gospel music giant Sfiso Ncune

African gospel music is mourning the untimely death of arguably South Africa's most successful gospel artist Sfiso Ncune. .

His songs have inspired many generations and are frequently used to provide comfort and strengthen many who are going through a difficult time.

 

SBS Swahili spoke with Rajabu a Brisbane based gospel artist and close friend of Sfiso, who told us about the impact of Sfiso's music and the gap which he leaves in African gospel music.
