Burundi increases efforts to achieve Gender equality

As the world celebrates international womens day on 8 March. Campaigns to strengthen efforts to achieve gender equality continue in earnest. Burundi is one of the few countries which boasts of increasing numbers of women in key leadership positions by 30%. Efforts continue to ensure these changes reach women from low income backgrounds and especially those in rural and remote areas. Ramadhani Kibuga has filed the following report from Bujumbura Burundi.
