The final sitting week of parliament before the mid-winter break was dominated by claims of impropriety and corruption.

The Attorney General ordered an inquiry into allegations of misconduct at Crown Casinos, while the Liberal Party ended the week trying to play down claims of a "women problem" in the organisation.

A review into claims of bullying in the Liberal Party is due later this year.
