DRC water shortages

Residents of Bukavu in South Kivu, DR Congo continue to face acute water shortages.

Many residents currently have to cross the border into neighbouring Rwanda to fetch water where many are charged a premium.

 

SBS Swahili's Byobe Malenga, visited Bukavu where he spoke with residents about their ongoing struggles to find water for every day use.
