The Federal Liberal Party leadership spill has severely tested the resolve of the Australian public, with many saying they have had enough of ministers putting personal leadership ambitions ahead of the country.
Whilst a core group of Liberal MP's and Senators were agitating for a change of leadership, others among them were swept up in the drama which ensued.
South Australian Liberal Party Senator Lucy Gichuhi, had a front row seat as the left and right factions of the party tore into each other.
