Fight over changes to 18C appears to be unfinished

Politicians on both sides of government have warned the debate over changes to race-hate laws is not finished.

Late Thursday night, (30 march 2017) the Senate blocked the Federal Government's attempt to change the wording of section 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act.

 

But supporters of the change, in particular, are saying the issue is not going away.
