Deo Masudi's family featured in the first series of the SBS TV series Go Back Where you came from, when they were still living in Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya


The family hosted a group of Australians in their home in Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya. Some of their guests had very strong views about refugees and asylum seekers in general.

 

The Masudi's have since been resettled in Australia and recently they visited SBS Swahili and shared their experiences in the refugee camp with us.
