Kenyan charity receives top community award in NSW, Australia

The Kenya based Shukrani Home Foundation, was recently honored by the NSW chapter of Celebration of African Australians for it's work with young people and students in rural parts of Machakos, Kenya.

The core objective of Shukrani Home Foundation is giving back to society.

Jane S Kitungu from the foundation, visited SBS Swahili a few days after accepting the award, and gave us details about Shukrani Home Foundation's work in rural parts of Machakos, Kenya.
