Tanzanian leads ground breaking research to eradicate Malaria

Scientists and researchers recently gathered in Melbourne at the first ever World Malaria congress, to exchange ideas and explore ways of eradicating the illness.


Nancy Stephen Matowo is a research scientist, at the Ifakara Health Institute in Tanzania. She took part in the congress where she shared her work with fellow scientists and researchers.

She told SBS Swahili about her research in Tanzania, and measures being implemented to edge the East African nation closer to eradicating malaria.
