Burundi's civil conflict, has been raging for over a year now with devastating effects on families. According to statistics from the UN more than 470 have been killed in the conflict.

Burundi's civil conflict, has been raging for over a year now with devastating effects on families. According to statistics from the UN more than 470 have been killed in the conflict.


The conflict has turned many women and children in Burundi into widows and orphans leaving them vulnerable to all sorts of issues. SBS Swahili's reporter in Bujumbura visited one such family and prepared this report.
