Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Opposition Leader Bill Shorten have [[Mon 29/4]] clashed on a number of issues in the first leader's debate of the 2019 federal election debate.

Of the 48 undecided voters in the room for the debate, a majority marked Mr Shorten as the victor on the night.

Before the debate, the Australian Electoral Commission announced that a record 110-thousand people had already cast early votes on the first day of pre-polling for the 2019 federal election. [[Mon 29/3]]

Those who haven't voted already will get to see the two leaders clash again in the second leader's debate on Friday (3/5) in Brisbane on a pay TV news channel, while Mr Morrison wants a third debate in prime time at a later date.
