Australia is likely to expel a number of Russian diplomats today, according to reports.
More than 100 Russian diplomats were expelled from the United States and Britain’s allies in Europe today.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is yet to confirm the move. Channel Nine reports “two” Russian diplomats will be given marching orders.

The Russian Embassy in Canberra declined to comment when contacted by SBS News early on Tuesday morning.
Treasurer Scott Morrison would not confirm the move, but suggested an announcement was coming.
“We obviously have shown a lot of solidarity with Great Britain over this issue and we welcome the announcements made by our allies and partners around the world on this issue,” Mr Morrison told reporters at Parliament House.
“We will have more to say about it later today.”
