Accordingly, the landowners are informed to provide the details of private lands which are currently occupied by the tri-forces and police in Jaffna district. Therefore, quick steps will be taken to identify those claimants and to hand over the lands to them.

The Northern Province administration has requested through a media release that the landowners should complete the specially prepared application form with the appropriate proof or explanation to claim their land.

The application form can be obtained from the Governor’s Secretariat, Jaffna District Secretariat, Divisional Secretariat, and Northern Provincial Council Website https://np.gov.lk/

Applicants are requested to forward the completed application form along with a copy of the land documents to the Governor’s Secretariat, Old Park, Chundikuli, Jaffna before 09th September.
