Ramalingam Gowtham's debut feature ‘Members of the Problematic Family,’ was screened at the Berlin International Film Festival, Berlinale. The movie opens the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne this August. The director and lead actor Karuththadaiyaan will attend the Australian premiere on 14 August. R. Gowtham speaks about his unflinching portrait of a funeral and a fractured family, and about the literature and world cinema that shaped him, with Kulasegaram Sanchayan.
