Kalieaswari Srinivasan is a Chennai-based theatre actor whose performance in the film Dheepan probably contributed to the winning of the prestigious Palme dOr award, at 68th annual Cannes Film Festival in 2015.Kalieaswari was in Perth, performing at St Georges Dance and Theatre with it's Artistic Director, Jay Emmanuel, in a unique theatrical and culinary experience combining storytelling, food and live music - BIRYANI.Kulasegaram Sanchayan seized the opportunity when Kali was in Perth to talk to her about her life in theatre.
