Women in Melbourne celebrated International Women’s Day this year with a unique twist.

Organised by Nandini Biskunda, founder of the Women’s Multicultural Empowerment Network (WMN), said the event brought together women to enjoy a break from their usual responsibilities. The celebration featured DJ music, dancing, and fun, allowing women to relax, bond, and share joyful moments.

Nandini said that the event gave women a much-needed opportunity to connect and celebrate the day, creating a positive atmosphere that reflected the true meaning of International Women’s Day.
