Andhra Pradesh currently has seven airports, with five managed by the Airport Authority of India, one under state control, and a private airstrip in Puttaparthi. To meet growing demands, the state government plans to develop seven new airports in Kuppam, Dagadarthi, Srikakulam, Tadepalligudem, Nagarjuna Sagar, Tuni-Annavaram, and Ongole.
