Released in 1962, Mahamantri Timmarusu is a landmark historical drama in Telugu cinema, directed by legendary filmmaker Kamalakara Kameswara Rao. Starring N. T. Rama Rao, Devika and Gummadi, the film featured music by Pendyala Nageswara Rao and received national recognition by winning the President’s Silver Medal for Best Feature Film in Telugu at the 10th National Film Awards.
