Beware of loan sharks threatening debtors

NEWS: Beware of 'loan sharks' threatening and harassing debtors with difficulty in making repayments.

Detectives from Surry Hills Police Area Command are warning people against entering into loans with “loan sharks”. The issue came to light after a number of persons from the Sydney Thai community reported to police that they were being threatened and harassed when they had difficulty making their repayments.
