Chief Executive of Tesla and technology mogul, Elon Musk, has sent a series of tweets on Friday (6 July) saying that engineers from his companies—SpaceX and The Boring Company—are on the way to Thailand the next day, in order to understand the complexities of the situation.
Boring Company is known for its ability to dig tunnels for advanced transport systems, using advanced ground-penetrating radar, whilst Space X is a manufacturer of space transportation services.

Musk also weighs in—as to how the rescue could be carried out, saying air pumps & pressurised “tube” transport, not dissimilar to his “Hyperloop” transport concept which Musk made famous since 2012, could be used to ‘zip up’ (the boys).
