A third of Australians suffering from 'social jet lag'

New research looking at the nation's sleep deprivation problem has found almost one-in-three Australians suffer so-called "social jet lag". That is when the time of sleep on work nights differed by more than an hour compared to on weekends or days off. Socially jetlagged people were more likely to go to bed late, wake up tired, be late for work and go to work when sick.
