Transport sector under fire over greenhouse emissions

The Climate Council says Australia needs to do more to reduce pollution produced by transport, which it says is Australia’s second-largest source of greenhouse gas pollution after electricity. The Council says at the same time, Australia's road and public transport systems are failing to keep up with growing population and urban sprawl.
