The Socceroos have qualified for a fourth consecutive World Cup after beating Honduras 3-1 in Sydney on Wednesday night.

Skipper Mile Jedinak netted two penalty goals at a sold-out ANZ Stadium to complement the Honduras own goal that came off his 54th-minute free kick.

Although Honduras scored a consolation in injury-time, it means Ange Postecoglou's Australian squad have finally made the cut for Russia 2018 after 22 qualifying matches over a gruelling 29 months.
