Goal drought doesn’t bother Kerem Bulut

Kerem Bulut was discarded by the Western Sydney Wanderers and has been scoreless in Europe but now he has a new Turkish contract.

25-year-old Bulut was released from his Western Sydney Wanderers contract in December. He signed with German third division outfit SV Wehen Wiesbaden but failed to make his mark. He played 85 minutes in five games before suffering an injury which kept him out for the rest of the season.

He was released by SV Wehen Wiesbaden on April 27 and moved back to Turkey. His first Turkish experience in 2013 had been less than delightful.

He played 12 matches in the Turkish Super League and 10 matches in the 1st League without scoring a goal.

Last week Bulut signed a two-year contract with the Menemen town council sponsored Turkish 2nd League team Menemen Belediyespor.  Menemen Belediyespor finished this season in 5th place.

“I am very pleased to play in Turkey again, I want to experience a championship with Menemen Belediyespor” he said, when he signed the contract.
