Authorities in the United States are warning Hurricane Florence could kill many people

The storm is nearing the U-S east coast and is expected to make landfall early this weekend. Hurricane Florence has been downgraded to a Category 2 storm, but 165-kilometre-per-hour winds and heavy rain are expected to drench the states of North and South Carolina and Virginia. North Carolina governor Roy Cooper is warning citizens to remain vigilant.
