Shepparton man, Umit Bolat found dead

Umit Bolat's dead body was located near Dick’s Island about 3pm today.The 45-year-old was last seen alive about 5.30pm on Sunday, 12 August in the vicinity of Wyndham Street, Shepparton.

A 29-year-old man and 26-year-old man, both from Lemnos, and a 44-year-old Ardmona man were arrested.

All three have now been charged with murder.

Umit Bolat's sister Kubra Bolat confirmed that police called her today to inform her about his brother found dead near Dick's Islands in Shepparton.

They will appear at the Shepparton Magistrates’ Court today.

Mr Bolat was reported missing by his sister on the 21st August after failing to keep a number of appointments.
