Emergency services were called to a Hall Street address where they located the woman’s body about 9pm.
The 61-year-old woman died at the scene and detectives are treating her death as suspicious.
Investigators are hoping to speak to Mehmed Solmaz in relation to the death and are appealing for him to contact police.
It is believed he may be driving a black 2003 Nissan Pulsar, registration SHH971.
