Wheelchair rugby legend wins sports star awards

PARALYMPIC wheelchair rugby sensation Nazim Erdem is the 2016 Hume Leader Senior Sports Star of the Year.

Erdem, who was part of the Australian Paralympic team in Rio which won a gold medal in double overtime against the US, received the award at a gala ceremony on Wednesday, 23 November at Etihad Stadium.
