Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton says he saved a French au [[O]] pair from deportation because he thought it was a bit rough for her to get kicked out of Australia. Peter Dutton defied advice from a senior Australian Border Force official when he personally intervened to stop the young woman from deportation after being lobbied by AFL boss Gillon McLachlan.
