The Australian Tax Office (ATO) is now a joint signatory with Turkey to an international agreement that allows free exchange of banking and finance information. ATO warns tax payers who receive income from abroad to declare, both to prevent double taxation and fax fraud. Kamil said tax payers needed to beware of the heavy fines that could result from hiding pension income or rent coming to them from abroad. (AUDIO IN TURKISH)
