The mosque of Melbourne's Albanian community was one of the most significant community centres of the newly arriving Turks half a century ago.
Albanian Australian Islamic Society Mosque in Carton North in Melbourne recently turned 50. The mosque was established in 1969 and the Albanian community generously shared their mosque with the newly arriving Turks.
