African Union countries have demanded an apology from United States President Donald Trump for remarks in which he allegedly called African nations "shithole" countries. The comment reportedly came as Republican and Democratic senators were briefing the president on changes to the U-S visa lottery system and considerations about immigration from Africa. But Mr Trump insists he never used derogatory words during last week's private meeting.
