EU appeals to Spain, Catalonia leaders to talk

As Catalonia looks to become independent from Spain, European Union officials are urging dialogue between the two governments. But the EU's European Commission is also stepping back, looking to leave the issue in the hands of the Spanish and Catalan governments as an internal matter for Spain.
