The Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet has launched an urgent investigation into how thousands of pages of top-secret information surfaced in two second-hand filing cabinets. The highly classified documents should have remained confidential for decades, but, in a major security breach, were obtained by the media. ASIO officers have secured thousands of sensitive government cabinet documents at ABC offices in Canberra and Brisbane in an early morning operation
