Hundreds of New Zealanders have had their visas cancelled

2014 changes to the migration law have seen a surge in the number of Australian visa cancellations, with New Zealanders, disproportionately affected. The Federal government is now seeking to tighten the laws and if passed, could see tens of thousands at risk of deportation, according to migration experts.
