SBS Turkish spoke to journalist Yavuz Oghan about the firing of three pro-Kurdish mayors, the debate over forest fires and the criticism directed at the new Istanbul mayor for taking two holidays in the two months since he took office. Yavuz Oghan said Istanbul mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu has emerged as a national figure and as a result has been trying to woo the entire country, not only Istanbul residents. (AUDIO IN TURKISH)
