Leading Australian Muslim academic calls for discussion over euthanasia

The director of the Charles Stuart University's Centre of Islamic Studies and Civilisation, Associate Professor Mehmet Ozalp talks to SBS Turkish about Victoria's decision to legalize euthanasia. He acknowledges the fact that Islam bans euthanasia, but also admits there are moral, legal and humanitarian questions that necessitate a theological discussion on the matter.
